The Gunter Family Reunion
July 3-6, 2009
Coe Hill, Ontario, Canada

In 1812, Abraham Gunter, along with his wife and small children, braved the war fronts and travelled from New Brunswick to make their new home in Upper Canada.  Ever a family of pioneers, with each generation following the homestead call, the Gunter family has spread coast to coast. Nonetheless, the family has enjoyed staying in touch with each other and July 2009 marks the date of another 'Gunter Roundup'.

When:
Friday, July 3 to Monday, July 6, 2009
Where:
Community Centre and Fairgrounds, Coe Hill, Ontario
What:
A weekend family event.  Meet your relatives from across Canada and the northern US.  Lots of time to swap stories.  Gunter Heritage tours.  Share Karaoke talent.  Lots of activities for everyone.

News

We did it.  And a great time was had by all.

We have left on the program and registration pages so they are handy for those who are organizing or thinking about organizing the next reunion.

We plan to maintain the website through to the next reunion so check back in the meantime to see what else is new.
